Eumarellah employs full time, live in lodge managers during the ski season who are there to greet Members and Guests and make your stay at Eumarellah more enjoyable. We have recently appointed new managers for 2022, Alli and Chris Schneider are joining us at Eumarellah after 15 years managing SASC at Charlotte Pass.
Season 2022 Managers – Meet Chris and Alli Schneider
Chris and I are very excited at taking on the role of winter managers at Eumarellah Ski Club. Neither of us have been to Mt Hotham before but it looks beautiful. It looks like an in between combination of Thredbo and Charlotte Pass. We’re really looking forward to experiencing Hotham and Eumarellah!
We both love the life style that comes with working snow seasons and would like to continue to do this for many years to come. We love the social aspect that comes with running a lodge and we both have a passion for skiing and snowboarding. Chris is Swiss born and grew up skiing from a young age. I saw snow for the first time when I was five and it was love at first sight.
We both have excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure and as a team. We always strive to do our best to please our guests and make their stay as happy and memorable as possible. Chris is an incredible handy man and can fix just about anything. We have actually renovated about 15 houses together over the years. Chris is a qualified chef and I am a qualified hairstylist. We both now have a COVID Safety Certificate for hospitality.
We were very involved in the way COVID affected lodge life as we managed SASC for the two years during the outbreak. We have both completed COVID training courses for hospitality. We have always been very particular with our cleaning and we have an impeccable record from the NSW health and safety inspections that were carried out every year during the snow seasons.
