Eumarellah has some of the most up-to-date private lodge accommodation at Mt Hotham and boasts an extensive, commercial-grade kitchen, a mixture of room configurations to cater for different numbered groups, games and entertainment facilities, robust laundry and drying facilities and a sauna.
Kitchen and Dining
The kitchen is designed to cater to groups of all sizes and is equipped with commercial-grade appliances. The lodge boasts simultaneous dining for up to 32 adults. High chairs are also available for infants.
The kitchen has two Goldstein commercial ovens and cooktops that cater to couples and large groups alike. All the necessary utensils, tools and gadgets required to ease the cook’s burden including microwaves, freezer and dishwashers are also available.
In addition, you will find a walk-in cool room and food storage area. Eumarellah provides basic condiments, spreads, tea, instant coffee and sugar. A Nespresso coffee machine is available, BYO PODs.
We also provide a complimentary light breakfast for guests during the ski season.
Guests only need to bring their own food and drink requirements.
Sleeping
Eumarellah features 10 bedrooms, some with full ensuite facilities, and a total of 39 beds in various room combinations. Each bed has a doona and pillow with guests only required to provide pillowslips and sheet set or a bottom sheet with sleeping bag. Guests need to bring personal linen, bath towels and toiletries. Linen is available for hire, please select the option when making your booking. All bedrooms and bathrooms are equipped with hydronic heating to ensure a comfortable temperature for our guests. There are combination lock safes in each room to secure your valuables.
Relaxation
You can relax in our expansive lounge with a glass of red in front of our refurbished open fireplace. A stereo system and a well-stocked library and games for adults and kids are available.
Complimentary high-speed StarLink Wi-Fi is also available for Members and Guests.
The central floor level is equipped with a core heating unit for comfort on those cold mornings and is complemented by our newly installed double-glazed panoramic windows in the living area.
And after a hard day skiing or boarding what better way to relax those strained limbs and muscles than by taking a sauna? You will find the sauna on the lower level just past the laundry.
Entertainment
Downstairs you will find our TV and video room, a great place to relax and take in a movie or watch your favourite TV show on our satellite equipped system.
Bring your own DVD’s or videotapes or rent from one of the many outlets around the resort. A Nintendo system is also available in the video room. Guests are required to bring their favourite games and controllers.
Also downstairs is our newly renovated games room where you can play pool, table tennis, and other games. Another stereo system is located on this level.
Laundry and Miscellaneous Features
Our fully equipped laundry offers a commercial washing machine and dryers. Washing powder is supplied. Ironing facilities are also available. Also located in the laundry is a child’s bath. A limited number of kid’s cots are available and it is advisable to reserve your requirement when making your accommodation booking.
Security
A secure ski and board storage room is available as you enter the lodge. This room is locked nightly. The clothes drying room may be found adjacent to the entrance area of the building for convenience.
All bedrooms have been fitted with digital safes allowing guests to safely secure personal items such as cameras, wallets and mobile phones.
